Preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry, free of wax, grease, dust and other contaminants. The presence of contaminants increases the possibility of rejection and delamination. If uneven, the surface should be sanded with coarse sandpaper. All nail holes and cracks should be filled with Intergrain Woodblend putty. Fine sand the floor, finishing with 100 grit sandpaper, then with 150 mesh screenback and vacuum thoroughly with a commercial grade vacuum cleaner.

Mixing
Shake the Endure 1 Pack for 1 minute or until any settled matting agent is reincorporated. Strain product.

Application
New Timber: Where a sealer is required, apply 1 coat of Enviropro Timberseal following the instructions on the Timberseal label. Lightly sand the sealer with a worn 150 mesh screen if needed. Apply 2 coats of Endure 1 Pack at 8-10m²/L using a 11mm Selleys Spirit micro-fibre roller. To improve adhesion and minimise grain raise, screen between coats with a worn 150 grit screen or 180 grit screen.

Recoating Timber: To ensure adhesion, a test patch is recommended after the surface has been prepared. Wash the floor with Enviropro Squeaky Clean as per the label instructions. Sand with 100 grit screen then vacuum thoroughly and tack clean with a damp rag. Apply 1 coat of Endure 1 Pack at 8 - 10m²/L using a 11mm Selleys Spirit micro-fibre roller.

For new and existing timber, any contaminants that appear between coats will cause inconsistencies in the final film. It is recommended to seal doors, fireplaces and windows. To increase the wear resistance, apply up to 3 coats of Endure 1 Pack. On porous timbers, up to 3 coats of Endure 1 pack can also be applied to maximise the uniformity of the finish.

*Coverage rates are subject to variation between different timber species. To ensure adequate timber protection, this coverage should not be exceeded.
^ These dry times are based on drying conditions of 25°C and 50% relative humidity. Dry times will be subject to climatic conditions, film thickness and airflow.  Use below 10°C is not advised.  If using above 30°C, use of Enviropro Wet Edge Extender is recommended.  It is not advised to apply coatings when the temperature exceeds 35°C as they may dry too quickly under the roller, resulting in a substandard finish. The drying time will vary greatly when the temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C, or if the relative humidity is higher than 50%.
