Timber Seal Ultra

Timber Seal Ultra Description
Intergrain Enviropro Timber Seal Ultra is a high performance water based sealer that enhances the natural colour of timber and parquetry floors. Timber Seal Ultra's unique formulation makes it easy to sand, powdering up when screened. When used with Enviropro Endure 1 Pack and 2 Pack, Timber Seal Ultra becomes part of a high performance system.

Where to use
Timber and parquetry floors.

Preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry, free of wax, grease, dust and other contaminants. The presence of contaminants increases the possibility of rejection and delamination.

Fine sand the floor, finishing with 120 grit sandpaper, then with 150 mesh screenback. Vacuum thoroughly with a commercial grade vacuum cleaner.

Mixing
Shake the pack for 1 minute prior to application.

Application
Cut in edges with a brush. Apply Timber Seal Ultra at 10 to 12m²/L using a 11mm Selleys Spirit micro-fibre roller. Do not overwork the coating. Finishing strokes should be in the direction of the timber grain. If needed, sand the sealer with a worn 180 or 220 screenback. The sealer does not need to be sanded, however sanding the sealer coat will improve the appearance of the final finish.

*Coverage rates are subject to variation between different timber species. To ensure adequate timber protection, this coverage should not be exceeded.
^ These dry times are based on drying conditions of 25°C and 50% relative humidity. Dry times will be subject to climatic conditions, film thickness and airflow. Use below 10°C is not advised. If using above 30°C, use of Enviropro Wet Edge Extender is recommended. It is not advised to apply coatings when the temperature exceeds 35°C as they may dry too quickly under the roller, resulting in a substandard finish. The drying time will vary greatly when the temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C, or if the relative humidity is higher than 50%.

Please refer to the instructions provided on the Intergrain Enviropro Timber Seal Ultra container before commencing your project.
